AI Use Policy

How we use AI tools, protect client information, and keep a human in the loop.

Last updated: September 9, 2026 · Entity: Meralis LLC, d/b/a Meralis Advisory

Purpose

This policy explains how Meralis Advisory uses artificial intelligence tools in its operations and advisory work. It is meant to be transparent with clients, prospects, and partners about what we do and do not do with AI.

Tools we use

We use coding assistants, research assistants, and common writing aids such as spell-check and grammar-check features that are now marketed as AI-powered. These tools support our work but do not replace professional judgment.

Client data and confidentiality

No client confidential information or personal data is entered into AI tools. We do not paste proprietary documents, customer records, credentials, or other sensitive client materials into third-party AI services.

Human oversight

All AI-generated code, drafts, and recommendations are reviewed by a human before they are used internally or shared with a client. AI output is treated as a starting point or assistant, never as a final deliverable.

What we do not do with AI

We do not use AI to produce final client deliverables without review, to substitute for audits or certifications, or to use client data to train AI models. Advisory conclusions, recommendations, and client-facing materials are always the result of human analysis and judgment.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as our tools and practices evolve. The current version is always available on this page.
